The conference is on – LIVE. Thanks to the cooperation of the Convention Center and hotel, we have added space to our event (exhibit hall and meals/receptions). This coming week the Renaissance hotel and convention center will host the USA Karate National Championship and US Team Trials. The expected attendance is x,xxx.
Mask Mandate Issued by Illinois Governor. (From the Governor’s press release). To slow the spread of the highly transmissible COVID-19 Delta variant, all Illinois residents over the age of two will be required to wear a mask in all indoor settings, effective Monday, August 30th. The requirement is applicable to both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents statewide.

Exhibit Set-Up: Will take place starting on Tuesday, September 7 at 1 PM. The Center will close at 6 PM and re-open Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 AM.
Exhibit Tear Down: The Exhibit Hall will close at 4PM on Thursday, September 9. All material will be removed by 6:00 PM.
How many people should I plan for? Sponsors will receive the Pre-Conference registrant list in early August (this is an added benefit of sponsorship).
But as of (Aug. 1) we anticipate 700 for the main conference and 200 for the free day.

Deadline for Free Day Speaker Presentations: Your PowerPoint presentations ARE PAST DUE. If we don’t get your presentation shortly we’ll ONLY have a title slide showing during your talk. Once submitted, slides can not be changed.
Free Day Speakers should come to the appropriate room at least 30-to-40 minutes before their designated time. Come to the front of the room where you’ll find the session director.
Full Conference Speakers: Sessions are coordinated by the Session Director. NO presentations are submitted to us.
We recommend all session presentations are loaded onto one laptop that one person (for example, the Session Director) brings to the conference on the laptop. All speakers should arrive at the designated room at least 20 minutes prior to the session.
