David A. Ion has been serving individuals, families, retirees, and businesses on California’s Central Coast for more than 20 years. As the founder of Ion Financial & Insurance Services, he specializes in Medicare planning, health insurance, life insurance, long-term care coverage and hospital indemnity plans.
David is known for taking a practical, educational approach to helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions with confidence. His focus is not simply on finding a policy, but on helping clients prepare for the financial and healthcare challenges that can impact retirement and long-term security.
Throughout his career, David has worked extensively with Medicare beneficiaries, helping clients navigate Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage plans, Part D prescription coverage, and retirement healthcare planning. He also assists individuals who may have previously been declined for coverage by helping explore alternative solutions that fit their needs.
David is a longtime member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and has served as a board member for NAIFA Central Coast. He is a graduate of the Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) and The American College of Financial Services’ LUTCF program. His FSS designation reflects his commitment to ongoing professional education and client service.
