The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) announced plans to work together on the 2018 National Medicare and Senior Insurance Products Sales Summit.
“NAHU is leading the way in terms of legislative issues impacting agents who market Medicare insurance and their partnership in the free educational day for agents is so significant and appreciated,” announced Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The Association organizes the national event and expo that will take place June 12, 2018 at the Marriott Grand Hotel in St. Louis.
The free day program will consist of some 50 different workshops focused on Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, senior insurance products and insurance marketing. The annual event is held immediately prior to the 10th National Medicare Supplement insurance industry conference.
In addition to NAHU, the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) previously announced it will partner in support of the free day for agent event. “This is an ideal forum to educate hundreds of insurance professionals and get many of them involved in important legislative and regulatory initiatives,” shares Janet Trautwein, Executive Vice President and CEO of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Nearly 1,000 insurance professionals requested access passes for the 2017 free agent day that took place in Dallas. To check out the preliminary program for the 2018 event and request no-cost access, go to https://medicaresupp.org/2018-free/.
