  6.  Headlines can be centered and BOLD.

Get this release to weekly newspapers the last the end of September.  Mail – Fax – or Email to the Editor.
Send to daily newspapers around Oct. 2/3. Mail – Fax – or Email to the Local News Editor.

If you are ALSO sending Press Release #1 — spread out your timing by at least a week.

GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR DIRECTORY LISTING

Traffic to the Association’s Find An Agent directory always increases during AEP.

But, just because you are listed, doesn’t guarantee that a consumer will contact you.

You need a great listing that will HAVE SENIORS PICK YOU!

That’s why I strongly suggest the following.

 

  1. Click the highlighted link – enter your Zip Code and look at your listing: Check My Medicare Agent Directory Listing
  2. Check your listing. Compare to other agents near you. Make sure your description will attract calls or emails.
  3. Test your Email by sending yourself a test message.

Many Seniors Use The Directory To Find MA Plan Information

If you offer Medicare Advantage options, does it say so in your description?

Have You Tested Your Email?

Today, spam filters may direct Emails from the directory to your Spam or Junk folder. Test by sending yourself and email. If it lands in your Junk (spam) folder, move it to your Inbox. You want to ‘train’ your computer to recognize Emails from the Association.
