The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance was originally established to run the industry’s conference. Over the next ten years it is expected that 33.4 million individuals will turn age 65. The Medicare-eligible population will grow from 63.7 million (2022) beneficiaries to 77.4 million beneficiaries. Some 14 million more individuals will be added to the Medicare program over the next 10 years, a 22% increase. Beyond 2030, an additional 6.4 million are projected to be added by 2040.
The Association now exists to help agents who sell Medicare insurance be successful.
