Some 500 insurance agents and financial professionals who market Medicare Supplement insurance as well as other senior insurance products are registered to attend the free one-day Summit organized by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

“The number of Americans with Med Supp insurance or Medigap  reached a new high in 2016 and there’s never been as much interest,” states Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). “We are offering a free day for insurance agents who want to learn more and meet face to face with the nation’s leading insurers and experts.”

The free day program takes place Tuesday, April 11 in Dallas, Texas immediately prior to the start of the Association’s Ninth National Medicare Supplement Insurance Industry Summit. “We are taking advantage of having the Medigap industry in one place and opening the doors for agents who want to learn more so they can help their many senior clients,” Slome adds.

In addition to a track of sessions focused on MedSupp products, the Association is offering a track of sessions focused on senior-related insurance products including dental insurance, final expense insurance and short-term care insurance.

Agents who are not in the Dallas area or able to travel to attend the event will be able to watch sessions filmed and made available online.
