2018 Medicare Summit June 12-14, 2018 St. Louis, MO
The 10th national Medicare Supplement Insurance National Summit will take place next June according to an announcement from the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
“The only national convention and expo focused on Medigap will take place June 12-14, 2018 at the Marriott Grand Hotel in St. Louis,” announced Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The Association will again offer a free day for agents featuring tracks on selling Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and senior insurance products.
Over 750 industry leaders and Medicare insurance distributors and agents attended the 2017 national Medigap Summit held this past April in Dallas, TX. “As interest in Medicare insurance grows, we are so pleased to organize a meaningful event that brings the industry together for both education and networking,” Slome shared.
The conference exhibit hall annually is sold out. “Last year we had some 82 different exhibitors and this year we expect a repeat,” Slome noted. In addition, the organization is planning a repeat of the highly successful free day for insurance agents.
“With so many top experts and companies gathering in St. Louis, we open the doors on the first day and offer free access to attend special sessions and meet with exhibitors,” Slome notes.
Medicare Advantage Track Added To Summit Free Agent Day
On Tuesday, June 12, the Association hosts a day for agents where there is no cost to attend sessions or enter the exhibit hall. “We are adding two tracks of workshop sessions, one that will focus on selling Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans and one that will focus on generating leads using the latest in Google technology and social media,” Slome added.
