Information for Conference Attendees 2021

We look forward to greeting you at the 2021 National Medicare Insurance Industry Conference in Schaumburg, IL.

Here are a few important details.

MASK MANDATE:  The governor of Illinois has issued a mask mandate (effective Sept. 1) for indoor events.  Please bring and wear a mask not just for your own health – but for the health and comfort of those attending.  Thank you.

SAFETY MEASURES:  On a weekly basis we have posted information on events taking place at the Schaumburg Convention Center.  Just before our event there are 2 large national events (USA Karate Nationals and a WWE Fan Fest) with 2,000-4,000 attendees.  Both the hotel and convention center are following guidelines to ensure a health-safe environment.

REVISED PROGRAM:  Last week we worked with the hotel and convention center to secure some larger spaces for our receptions and meals.  Plus, the Exhibit Hall is now 50% larger.  This was done AFTER our conference program was printed.  You can download and print an updated 3-page conference program by clicking the link.  2021 Program 3-page version

REGISTRATION DESK:  The Registration desk will be open starting Wednesday morning.  You can pick up your badge anytime during the day.  It won’t be needed until the Wednesday evening Reception so, if you see a line, come back later.

EXHIBIT HALL:  The conference exhibit hall opens Wednesday at 8AM and closes at 3PM.  On Thursday, it’s open until 4:00 PM.  There are 100+ different companies present.  Bring lots of business cards (for future events we’ll utilize scan technology).

FREE DAY SESSIONS:  As a benefit for agents and brokers in the area, we offer 2 tracks of sessions on Wednesday (Sept 8).  You can pick up the agenda at the event.  You can, if you like, attend any of these sessions.

DRESS:  This is a casual conference – from business casual to jeans and slacks.  We encourage those who get chilly to bring along a sweater, jacket or light wrap.

TAXI TO SCHAUMBURG:  The hotel is about 13 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.   To avoid taxi surcharges (from city cabs) use American Taxi (use our link to save $2 – pay $28) or try Uber or Lyft from the airport.
