Testimonials from Medicare insurance agents who received consumer leads during the just concluded Medicare Annual Open Enrollment (AEP) have been posted by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
“We listened to consumers, many of who wanted to connect with local Medicare insurance professionals and I’m glad to see that the Association’s online directory is performing as hoped,” shared Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The organization maintains the only third-part online free resource where consumers can find Medicare insurance agents in their area.
“Open Enrollment is always the busiest time of the year when consumers really focus on their Medicare options,” Slome noted. “The Association received numerous testimonials from insurance agents regarding how valuable the resource was to consumers as well as to agents who are listed.”
To support consumers seeking local agents, the organization hosts the national online directory listing local Medicare Supplement agents in all 50 states. “The directory is 100 percent free to use and 100 percent anonymous, something consumers told us they wanted,” Slome explains.
According to Google analysis of the website, traffic to the organization’s website increased 48 percent during the Open Enrollment Period. The Association has just posted selected testimonials submitted by agents following the 2018 Medicare Open Enrollment period. They can be read at www.medicaresupp.org/why.
