The first of three promotional banners that can be utilized by insurance agents marketing Medicare Supplement insurance has been made available by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).
“Medicare Annual Election Period starts October 7 making the next few months one of the most competitive times of the year for Medicare insurance professionals,” explains Jesse Slome, director of the organization. “Those who want success need to stand out from the competition and that’s where we decided to help.”
“The 62 days which many still call Medicare Open Enrollment will be especially busy this year,” Slome predicts. “To support agents who market Medicare Supplement the Association created various marketing tools including banners for Social media as well as press releases and information to send to local radio stations.”
“Consumers need to understand there are some important changes coming in January and there are only so many specialists around,” Slome adds. “Their calendars will fill up early and these tools are designed to help them create heighten awareness among their current clients on Medicare as well as those who will be turning 65 in the months to come.”
The banners along with other marketing tools are offered at no charge to all agents listed on the Association’s Directory Of Local Medicare Insurance Agents. Some elements are available to non-listed agents for a nominal charge.
The Association hosts the nation’s leading online directory listing local Medicare insurance agents by Ziop Code. “This is a free service for consumers to find and connect with knowledgeable, local Medicare agents in their immediate area,” Slome notes. “Unlike other directories, there is no personal sign-in information required to access the directory at www.medicaresupp.org/agents.”
The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance is an advocacy and informational organization that conducts the national Medigap industry conference, conducts and publishes studies and supports insurance professionals who offer Medigap coverage.
